Job Description
This position is the in-country Sustainment Modernization Site Lead for the F-16V Modification Program located at the HAI plant in Schimatari, Greece. Manage the team of in-country Lockheed Martin Modernization Tooling, Avionics, Electrical, Structural, Quality Assurance and Ground and Flightline Operations personnel supporting the Hellenic Aerospace Industy (HAI) with the modernization of 84 Hellenic Air Force F-16 aircraft.

This individual will possess excellent leadership, organizational, and manufacturing skills, and provide direction and guidance to both the onsite Lockheed Martin Modernization Team and HAI senior leadership in the operations and sustainment of their F-16 modification facility. Install and operate a modification metric and analytics instance. Partner and collaborate with DCMA Quality, Government Ground Representative, and Government Flight Representative offices to identify and address issues and opportunities.

Integrate current production manufacturing processes into the large-scale HAI modernization workforce and systems. Engage Corrective Action (CA) and Continuous Improvement (CI) teams to establish and implement performance improvements.

Partner fully with LM Aero Sustainment and Program leadership to ensure all staffing and schedule objectives and actions are consistent with Aero objectives and commitments. Assist HAI in creating schedules to achieve critical program operations and assess impacts as they arise. Serves as the primary Lockheed Martin technical consultant to HAI Management and acts as a liaison to Fort Worth.

Basic Qualifications
Extensive knowledge and experience managing an assembly/modification facility including manufacturing techniques and metrics, ground and flight operations environment, (Induction thru Delivery) with the ability to develop new guidelines and communicate current Lockheed Martin Final Assembly and Check Out (FACO) best practices.

Experience in managing international vendors and demonstrated ability to work closely with the Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA) in completing the DD250 process and Certificates of Compliance.

Experience executing and managing major aircraft production, modification, acceptance flight operations, flight test operations, and delivery to the customer with an understanding of manufacturing and engineering processes and considered an expert in these fields.

Experience in leading and managing multifunctional teams, able to work independently setting a team vision, self-motivated and requires only consultative direction from Director (and above) level leadership.

Excellent communication skills which include the ability to speak, write and listen in a manner that clarifies issues, promotes closure and delivers information in a clear and concise manner while demonstrating full spectrum leadership and Culture of Accountability CoA.

Must be a US Citizen. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.

Desired skills
Demonstrated experience working with and understanding international customs and working environments. Proficient with Microsoft Office applications. Prior successful international experience. Excellent presentation skills and ability to address complex matters / solutions with senior leadership.
