Additional Information: This hotel is owned and operated by an independent franchisee, Chase Hospitality, LLC. The franchisee controls all aspects of the hotel’s employment policies and practices, including the selection and hiring process. If you accept a position at this hotel you will be employed by a franchisee and not by Marriott International.
As a Hotel Revenue Manager, you will maintain the transient rooms inventory for your assigned region, and will be accountable for maximizing transient revenue.
You will release group rooms back into general inventory and ensure clean booking windows for customers.
In addition, you will recommend pricing and positioning of cluster properties as well as overseeing the inventory management system to verify appropriateness of agreed upon selling strategies.
Your specific duties in this role will include:
Analyzing, and Reporting Revenue Management Data
Compiling information, analyzing and monitoring actual sales against projected sales
Conducting sales strategy analysis and refining as appropriate to increase market share for all properties
Maintaining accurate reservation system information
Generating updates on transient segment each period
Updating market knowledge and aligning strategies and approaches accordingly
Achieving and exceeding all goals including performance goals, budget goals, team goals, etc.
Exploring opportunities that drive profit, create value for clients, and encourage innovation
Providing revenue management functional expertise to cluster general managers, leadership teams, and market sales leaders
Managing rooms inventory to maximize cluster rooms revenue
Checking distribution channels for hotel positioning, information accuracy and competitor positioning
Providing recommendations to improve the effectiveness of revenue management processes
Acting as a liaison when necessary, between property and regional/corporate systems support
