Job Description

Job Title: Project Analyst
Location: REMOTE/Dallas, TX
Duration: 6+ months

Essential Job Function / Responsibilities:
  • Gather input from the PM and project team to develop project schedules and resource plans utilizing MS Project
  • Coordinate project status reporting, collecting weekly project updates from team members including updates to schedule and budget
  • Manage and maintain the project schedule, gathering updates at least weekly
  • Perform critical path analysis on the schedule to proactively identify schedule risks and issues
  • Maintain project control logs, which including adding and updating actions, issues, risks, change orders and assumptions to ensure they are up to date and include accurate information
  • Collect data and reporting and tracking project performance
  • Maintain project budget and forecast
  • Conduct budget analysis, analyzing performance to plan
  • Follow up on action items and issues and facilitate driving them to closure
  • Identify and following up on past due or at-risk tasks
  • Work with team members to make sure the contingency plans are being developed and tracked appropriately
  • Management of deliverable tracking and document management, using SharePoint
  • Coordinate change orders and perform analysis on schedule, scope, budget impact
  • Coordinate project meetings, including developing agendas, taking notes and sending out notes and action items

  • PMO Experience
  • Strengths in organization and planning
  • Effective communication and follow-through
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment, lead projects and effectively prioritize time and tasks
  • Team player with the proven ability to build strong relationships and influence individuals at all levels of an organization, as well as external clients
  • Exceptional oral and written communications skills
  • Superior organizational skills and detail-orientated
  • Comfort with ambiguity and change
  • High level of professionalism and demonstrated leadership abilities
  • Desired exposure to the following tools: Jira, Confluence, ServiceNow
