    PrimeSource Building Products, Inc., one of the nation’s largest wholesale distributors of building supply products is seeking a Rebate Accounting Manager in the Irving, Texas location. This role applies principles of accounting to analyze past, present and future financial operations.

    Responsibilities

    The following duties will be assigned accordingly and additional duties will be assigned if necessary:

    • Manages rebate accounting team to ensure accurate, timely and complete reporting of all customer and supplier rebate programs.
    • Designs procedures and process to further increase the efficiency and effectiveness of rebate setup.
    • Works with other teams including: IT, Pricing, Product Management, FP&A, and Legal to coordinate process enhancements, increase mutual understanding and validate practices and approaches to ensure excellence in processes.
    • Creates ad-hoc analysis to assist in special projects as needed.
    • Advises management on matters such as effective use of resources and assumptions for tracking and reporting of rebates.
    • Applies US GAAP standards to all transactions and ensures an accurate and timely month end close.

    Education and/or Experience:Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university in Accounting or Finance; or five to seven years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

    Computer Skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual should have above average proficiency of excel, Microsoft Office, experience in SAP and Vistex, or other rebate management tools, is preferred.

    Certifications & Licenses: Masters or CPA preferred

    Other Requirements: Mathematical Skills Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, percentages and financial analysis ratio's. Financial modeling experience is required. Valid Driver’s License and Current Passport.
