Position: Instructional Systems Designer (ISD)

If you’re looking for better skill fit, advancement opportunity, educational reimbursement, or just a friendlier place to call home….think PROSOFT….a place where you’re recognized and appreciated for your contributions.The scope of this support for the Navy Reserve Forces Command (CNRFC) N73 Learning Standards Office will utilize Course Curriculum Specialist, Instructional Material Specialist and Instructional Systems Designers to conduct training evaluation and research in order to design and development instruction to enhance training of Navy Reserve personnel worldwide. Specific attention to curriculum development and instructional material creation to meet Navy Reserve needs shall be required as part of Curriculum Control Authority and Course Curriculum Model Management support included in this task order. Instructional/Course Curriculum support includes the technical analysis and evaluation as it relates to Navy Reserve training and education with specific attention to curriculum development and instructional material designed to meet Navy Reserve needs.
Skills and Qualifications: Requires a minimum of 5 years’ specialized experience as an Instructional Systems Designer and general experience with: Authoring Instructional Materials (AIM) Content Planning Module / Learning Object Module(CPM/LOM), and open source e-Learning development software such as GIMP, SeaMonkey, Avidemux/OpenShot, Audacity, Synfig, Scribus, InkScape/Open Office Draw or Adobe products such as Adobe Photoshop Creative Cloud (CC), Adobe Illustrator CC, Adobe Captivate CC 2017, Adobe Audition CC 2017, Adobe Premiere Pro CC 2018, Adobe InDesign CC 2018, Adobe Acrobat Professional, Microsoft Office MAC 2016 and Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft PowerPoint.
Also requires working knowledge of Catalog of Navy Training Courses (CANTRAC), Enterprise Naval Training Reservation System (eNTRS), Corporate enterprise Training Activity Resource System (CeTARS), Fleet Training Management and Planning System (FLTMPS), and Standard Training Activity Support System (STASS). Must have the ability to provide data entry services to enter approved course information into any other identified electronic systems as required by CNRFC and higher authority. The Instructional Systems Designer also needs to be knowledgeable of the NETC programs, policies and procedures, including instructional systems design, E-Learning, teaching methodologies and the Navy Enlisted Rating Classifications or similar NAWCTSD software TBD, advancement opportunities, professional development and training requirements.
