  • Overview and Responsibilities

    Republic Finance is seeking a Process Analyst to enhance the process design and re-engineering capabilities of the organization. The candidate will proactively identify opportunities for improvement in operational efficiency and effectiveness leading to a reduction in expenses, increased loan originations and/or reduced charge-off. Our historically decentralized branch organization is undergoing a transformation to centralize many of our key credit and operations functionalities. The Process Analyst will support process reviews, design, and re-engineering spanning branch originations, collections, loss mitigation, and back-office operations. Job responsibilities are as follows:

    • Complete detailed reviews to create thorough process documentation including CTQ, SIPOC, swim lane process maps, RACI, FMEA, etc.
    • Act as an internal consultant to identify potential process opportunities, create business cases in support of these opportunities and lead them through implementation
    • Serve as process engineer for cross-functional initiatives providing guidance on current process details, designing new and updated processes including identification of impacts across the business
    • Design controls to support well-managed processes across the business and lead the development of reporting and IT business requirements with operations leadership
    • Analyze process and performance data to design strategies for operational improvement
    • Create KPIs providing a clear view of operational efficiency and effectiveness and act as a liaison between the Operations and Business Intelligence teams
    • Build spreadsheet modeling to forecast workload, target productivity levels and staffing requirements owning the ongoing capacity planning process supporting operations leadership
    • In partnership with operations employees, source and implement best practices across departments for improved efficiency and effectiveness

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree required, degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) field preferred
    • 2+ years in a process improvement role with strong experience in process mapping, re-engineering and control design
    • Green belt six sigma certification preferred
    • Proficiency with data mining and visualization
    • Experience collaboratively driving initiatives with large cross-functional teams
    • Ability to translate detailed results and observations into verbal and written summaries appropriate for senior executive consumption
    • Intellectual curiosity and white space problem solving to drive analytically based decisions from sometimes incomplete data
    • Experience in the consumer lending industry preferred
