    Title: Senior Data Warehouse Developer

    Location: Universal Cable Holdings, Inc. d/b/a Suddenlink Communications, 5830 Granite Pkwy, Suite 500, Plano, TX 75024

    Duties: Design, develop, test, and implement Data Warehousing applications for processing data into Oracle Data Warehouse and other systems such as Redshift, Bigquery. Maintain, enhance, and provide production support for Data Warehousing applications. Develop ETL and Data migration scripts. Understand and analyze business, project requirements. Analyze various data sets and understand reporting requirements, create logical, physical data models. Merge and consolidate data warehouse systems, which involves data migration from one system to another. Participate in data modeling and ETL design reviews, code reviews. Assist in resolving technical issues and maintenance of critical business applications, databases. Work directly with business customers across the multiple subject areas of Marketing, CRM, Technical Operations, Fiscal Operations, Billing and Accounting/Finance. Provide ad-hoc support and assist in delivering solutions under support and capital projects. Create data extraction, cleansing and load programs to move data from source systems to the target Data Structures. Participate in the creation and maintenance of standards for coding, documentation, error handling, error notification, logging, etc. Develop, implement and maintain schedule/dependency logic for automated ETL processing. Develop monitoring and error notification processes to ensure data is updated as expected. Assist in creating test plans and testing execution. Create data validation processes. Perform unit testing. Support the code promotion process through development and production as required. Assist in application and database performance tuning.


    Requirements: Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related technical field plus 5 years of progressively responsible experience as a Programmer Analyst, Lead Consultant or a related position building and delivering data warehouse and other enterprise analytical solutions. Must have at least 5 years of experience with the following: working in the full project lifecycle including all stages of design, development and implementation of custom Data warehousing applications including experience working within a formal development methodology; working in application development utilizing relational databases such as Oracle; using ETL tools like SQL, PL/SQL, and Informatica; working in Shell scripting and Unix / Linux environments; developing front end reports using BI tools including Business Objects, OBIEE, or Tableau; and using enterprise scheduling tools including Appworx or DAC.
