Job Description

This individual is responsible for overall operation of the Branch satisfying members’ financial needs in the following areas while meeting individual, department and organization goals:

  • ensure the efficient operation of the branch office regarding personnel, equipment, supplies and maintenance of the facilities and any other affected areas within the scope of policies, procedures and objectives set forth by the board of directors and through direction of the Vice President of Sales & Branch Operations;
  • ensure the efficient operation of the branch office regarding personnel, equipment, supplies and maintenance of the facilities and any other affected areas within the scope of policies, procedures and objectives set forth by the board of directors and through direction of the Vice President of Sales & Branch Operations;
  • assist members with any requests for service as needed in teller services and financial services;
  • refers members to other services other than one requested;
  • provide specific information about the credit union’s policies and procedures;
  • responsible for inventory control of budget, supplies, forms and equipment as needed for the branch usage;
  • monitor daily cash usage and ensure sufficient funds to effectively cash flow;
  • act as a liaison between outside personnel and the credit union concerning the Branch Office facilities;
  • actively participate in regular meetings of the management round table;
  • serve as, and fulfill the responsibilities of Assistant Security Director;
  • responsible for keeping branch expenses within budget;
  • actively participate in community functions and make monthly business calls;
  • report goal status of branch to VP Branch Operations weekly;
  • perform any and all other duties that may be required or needed from time to time.
  • sell money orders, travelers checks, bank checks, and cashiers checks;
  • receive and process business account deposits and business loans payments;
  • receive and process business TT & L payments;
  • receive and process mortgage payments;
  • perform any and all other duties that may be required or needed from time to time.
Required Skills

  • Must be capable of performing in a fast paced office environment and be of sufficient sound physical health to withstand the pressures associated with this position.
  • Previous experience supervising employees.
  • Ability to interview, hire, train, coach, evaluate, and terminate employees to achieve effective productivity of the Branch Office operations.
Required Experience

  • Bachelors Degree with emphasis in Management or Finance and training in human relations; OR
  • Qualifying experience of at least four (4) years proven supervisory experience.
  • Must have a working knowledge of the laws, rules, regulations, policies, and procedures in Teller and Financial Services.
  • Must be willing to obtain Series 6 and 63 investment licenses as well as Group 1 Insurance license in the next 24 months.
