Customer Experience Specialist I

The Customer Experience Specialist I is responsible for processing orders for internal and external customers, which include sales orders and quotes. This role is a supporting role to the VARIDESK Sales department. 


  • Processes quotes and sales orders for the Sales department relating to existing and potential customers
  • Provides written follow-up with customers, taking ownership from beginning to end for an exceptional customer experience. Some phone calls may be necessary.
  • Makes sounds decisions even in the absences of complete information to provide customers with the best experience
  • Builds and shapes relationships with our fans by being a team player and utilizing VARIDESK core values to elevate the customer experience.
  • Builds and maintains trust with Sales Account Managers by providing prompt and accurate service to promote customer loyalty
  • Works effectively in a team environment sharing success, best practices for department processes
  • Learns quickly when facing new situations, training updates and processes, enjoying challenges
  • Enthusiastically pursue and accept new responsibilities and challenges as they present themselves.
  • Able to identify and communicate issues or trends happening in the department to appropriate individuals
  • Embraces challenges, learns from feedback, inspired by and celebrates others success, persists despite obstacles
  • All other duties as assigned.


  • 3 + years’ experience in customer support
  • High School Diploma is required; some college is preferred
  • Strong communication skills both written and oral (speaking, listening interpretation)
  • Must be detail-oriented, well organized, and punctual
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Ability to adjust in a fast-paced environment subject to rapid change and ambiguity
