The Residential Sales Representative will possess a positive attitude, strong working drive and ‘outside of the box’ mindset. This outside sales position offers a solid work-life balance, competitive compensation, and long-term career opportunities!

What you’ll Do: Meet with current customers and potential new customers to determine their security and home automation needs. Continually prospect to find new opportunities to grow your business!

Sales! Income potential of $50,000 - $80,000 first year. Looking for hungry rookie or experienced rep with a growth mindset. We will coach you to a successful career in the security and home automation industry!

Main Responsibilities:

  • Create new opportunities by prospecting small businesses, and residential homes through various cold-calling campaigns.
  • Gaining and maintaining relationships with Vector Security customers to generate future up-sell/upgrade opportunities.
  • Diagnosing security needs and presenting solutions.
  • Responsible for maintaining/growing customer relationships for upsells, and referrals.
  • Creating referral/channel partners with Vector Security for lead generation.
  • Maintain an in-depth knowledge of complete line of products/services
  • Excellent verbal, and presentation skills.
  • Schedule appointments and present solutions with interested prospects generated from online marketing campaigns.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of one year outside sales experience or a background in the security or home automation industry
  • High school equivalent or higher
  • Valid driver’s license with reliable transportation required
