Manages daily operations of teen summer program including but not limited to developing presentation materials, recruiting teen participants, presenting to local community organizations, creating surveys to monitor grant outcomes, manage accounts receivable , planning teen service projects and applying for grants.


Candidate must effectively manage program budget including, but not limited to purchasing program supplies, participant shirts and managing current inventory of program supplies and equipment. Candidate must maintain staff/participant ratios, foresee and manage potential safety concerns and is to maintain control of group activities at all times. Plan and facilitate teen camp activities, field trips and special events while mentoring teens. Attend required seminars at the Volunteer Center of North Texas. Responsible for management of grant evaluation and reports. Plan and supervise service projects while incorporating teens' input. Contribute to the development of marketing materials. Manage and update online social media sites including twitter and blog. Other duties as assignted.



Ideal candidate must be energetic, enthusiastic and have the motivation to share that energy with participants. Candidate should have strong human relation skills and be able to meet required deadlines. Ability to speak Spanish a plus. Following Skills Required:
• Effective time management & communication • Able to lift 50lbs and ability to be active outdoors for long periods
• Experience facilitating group activities • Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Experience working with youth • Knowledge of leadership/team building activities
• Proficient in social networking including blogs • Ability to use digital and video cameras to create digital media
